I’ve been meaning to show this on my blog for such a long time but kept forgetting and then when I did remember I didnt have the book at home to take the photo!
We all love Stampin’ Up for helping us to make beautiful cards, boxes, gifts etc…. however it has also come in very handy when I have had to help my son’s with their homework!!!!!!!!!!!
A few months ago Ross (age 10) had to do some work on the Solar System!!! Well good old Mum came up with the idea of using all the different circle punches to create the different size planets!!!!!!!!
We mounted some Basic Black card into his book and then researched the siza and colours of the planets and set to work! Don’t you just love the So Saffron Saturn and the Tempting Turquoise Neptune!!!!
Ross was able to do most of this himself with a tiny help from Mum. It was fun to do this together and to make my craft stuff seem “cool” rather than just “urghh Craft stuff”.
Well he got 2 House Points and he also won the Weekly Endeavour award too!!!!Hope you like it and hope it has given you inspiration for any of your kids homework!!!
