One of my close friends had a baby boy on 24th March and I saw them all last week so had to make some baby cards. I know both sets of grandparents aswell as the happy new mummy and daddy so I had 3 cards to make!!
Here is the card I made for the Grandparents, very simple but I really love it and it is exactly the look I wanted to achieve!
The card blank is a textured card blank I had from Craftwork cards, they were the large 8×8 cards and I cut them down to make 2 small cards. The image is from the Forever Friends range and it was the first time I have used it! Backed the image onto some Close to Cocoa card and scallop edged the bottom, image coloured with Bashful Blue ink and the sentiment is from the Nursery Neccessities stamp set!
As you can see from this angle, I stamped the middle little bodysuit and layered it up and then I had the ingenious idea (well I thought it was anyway!) of attaching some linen thread as the washing line, and I secured it round the back!!Will show you the baby card I made for Mummy and Daddy tomorrow
Sun shining here today and I am stuck inside this afternoon being a Munchkin at Wizard rehearsals!!!
