I needed some more general girlie birthday cards in my birthday box so I decided to do the Just Magnolia Sketch challenge.
I went for the Tilda with little cherries on and used my Summer Picnic papers from Stampin UP as I knew they would co-ordinate perfectly.
The image has been coloured with a mixture of Copic Ciaos and Stampin Up marker pens. Now I had to laugh when I made this as when I purchased the Sizzlits fruits dies I didnt realise how big they would be!!! These cherries look like they have been grown in organic super powered fertilizer!!!!!!! I inked them around the edges with SU ink pads and then I added some white gel pen for highlights.
The super sized cherries overpowered that side of the card so I had to add the 3 buttons to balance it out!!!!! Sentiment is from the Crazy for Cupcakes set and punched out with………. yes you guessed it the Oval punches!
Now the “arty farty” angle is getting quite a fan club and I have noticed more and more people are going down this route!! Thats fab, arty farty rules!
