Hello there and welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for June 2022, I am Julie Sutcliffe (please note the name change) and I am a demonstrator in the UK. This month we are bringing you the new In Colours and I have chosen to use Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide which are my two favourites of the five new colours. I have had to sneak another couple of colours in to match the specific theme I had for my card. Both my sons are very keen cricketers (if you are in the USA you may not know this sport) and over the years I have had to come up with many cricket themed cards seeing as we do not carry a stamp set with this sport.
I have used the Big Hooray stamp set for the Hooray! sentiment and the new Alphabest bundle for the Ross’ name and age. The stumps and bails were made from some Crumb Cake card and sponged to make them look a little more authentic and the ball was made from the new Stylish Shapes dies and cut from a piece of Cherry Cobbler (this was the rogue colour that I used).
Do check out these new stamp sets in the Annual Catalogue, the Big Hooray stamp set is very on trend with its large, striking greetings and funky fonts and the Alphabest bundle is very useful to personalise your projects.
Please do take a look at what my colleagues have been up to and follow along on the Blog Hop. You can visit Melissa who is next on the hop here.
Or you can go backwards and visit Sue here
Thank you for reading today and I hope you enjoy all the projects.
