Hello there and welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop! This is my first month as part of the Blog Hop team and I would like to thank the girls for asking me to join them – it’s been a while!

This months challenge is to use Misty Moonlight, Pool Party and Calypso Coral. Now it is worth noting that we are also allowed to used the following neutrals on our projects too – Basic Black, Basic White, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I mention this as I have used Crumb Cake on my card!

I chose to use the Happy Hedgehogs bundle for my project along with the Picture This and Amazing Thanks dies. The Happy Hedgehogs has been a popular choice over here in the UK since the new Mini Catalogue was launched and I have been enjoying creating with it. For my design I die cut a piece of Pool Party card using the Picture This dies to form the frame of my card and I added a piece of Designer Series papers to the back as I felt it needed a bit of pattern to the design. The paper is from the Heart & Home suite in the Mini Catalogue.

I coloured the images with the ink pads and a Blender pen using Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake and cut these all out by hand, with the exception of the hedgehog as I used our handy new punch! Love how convenient our punches are! The Amazing Thanks dies are simply amazing and so handy to pop on your projects to finish off your designs, creating a great focal point and on trend calligraphy style greeting.

Everything was raised up using Stampin Dimensionals to give the card more of a 3D look. I really enjoyed creating this and coming up with my first foray into the Color Fusers Design Team, it certainly pushed me from a creative point of view. Why don’t you give it a go?
